Sitemasher, a SaaS Company, Celebrates Invitation to Innovation Showcase at Software 2008 in Vegas
Vancouver, BC (PRWEB) April 7, 2008 -- Sitemasher, a SaaS company (http://www.sitemasher.com), is one of 20 exclusive companies selected for the Innovation Showcase at Software 2008 (http://www.software2008.com/showcase/) in Las Vegas April 29-30, a major coup for the start-up technical firm.
The company's presentation, delivered by Ron Moravek is on April 29 at 3:45 p.m. PT at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.

Phil Calvin, founder and chief technical officer of Sitemasher, began developing a product in summer 2006 that is expected to take the complexity out of building, updating and maintaining websites, Denil said.
Eric Carlson of Anthem Capital became the sole venture capitalist in 2007. "Anthem Capital is delighted to be a lead investor in Sitemasher," Carlson said. "Sitemasher's web development tool is a quantum leap toward simplifying the website development process.
"It is a boon to site developers and owners alike," he said. "We think the development community will agree in the months and years to come."

Co-founders include Ron Moravek, chief executive officer, who joined the new corporation in August 2007 from Electronic Arts Canada. Moravek also co-founded Relic Entertainment along with Curtis Terry, chief financial officer and chief operating officer for Sitemasher.
Under Moravek's direction, Sitemasher formed the senior management team with Nicole Denil, vice president of sales and marketing. Denil joined Sitemasher from Microsoft Corporation, where she managed several businesses in Latin America. Denil offers 18 years of experience in international business and a strong history of managing high-growth businesses.
Eric Dorgelo, vice president of development, joined the team from Rockwell Software with a successful record of 18 years managing strategy, design and implementation of business-critical software.
